just because I’m not an expert at dealing with him being at sea, in the middle of some ocean, doesn’t mean I love him any less. Yeah, it is hard. Yeah, I do dread him going away, even if it is only for a week.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be with him, it doesn’t mean I’m going to be unfaithful, and it certainly doesn’t make me love him any less.

Of course it’s tough, being away from someone you love and share your life with will always be tough. We can’t all just put on a fake smile. All of us have our own way of dealing with being away from people. Just because the Military takes him away from my side doesn’t mean they take him away from my heart, my thoughts, and my dreams. 

Yes, it’s a challenge. Yes, I’m dealing with it, and I’m getting better at it each day.
